First 247 Truck construction update for 2012
Submitted by mmurray on Sat, 2012-01-07 15:07The first update on the construction of the new 247 Truck since the first of the year has been received, and focuses on construction of the aerial ladder. Pictures can be found here. Completion has been slated for 01 Feb 2012.

Santa completes his rounds
Submitted by mmurray on Tue, 2011-12-20 11:59On December 17th, the Berkeley Hills volunteers escorted Santa on a pre-planning trip throughout our district. We'd like to thank all of the residents that greeted him (and us) with snacks and monetary donations.
From all of us at the Berkeley Hills Fire Company, we wish you and yours a very happy and healthy holiday, and a prosperous 2012.
Ladder Truck Runs Small Fire

Early this morning, The Ladder Truck responded to Diamond Wire and Spring on Babcock Blvd for a reported fire in the building. Crews arrived to find a small fire and worked under 246 Command to remove smoke from the building.
Later in the day, The Engine went back to Evergreen's area to assist with a utility pole fire on McKnight Road.
Along with a few medical calls, the Company ran 5 calls today.
Slow start to Busy Shopping Season

The call volume has remained average during the first few days of the busy holiday shopping season. Amongst the usual calls, the Engine extinguished a small dumpster fire at the mall this morning.
